Quest: Target hunt

My progress of the quest stopped at 784/1000 and I don't know why.
It used to be the count of boss kills at the end of each location - what changed?

Target hunt is usually the monster next to the count to kill. another way to complete them is by simply activate the second boss ability and start a new run

As you can see I killed lots of monsters from the quest. The counter just froze after recent updates despite the long runs made by me.

Edit: the second boss ability started to mess up with the quest. I'm using it constantly and it stopped adding stuff to the quest. Manual choosing the monster worked.
