Developer Thoughts
I'll use this thread to share some of my thoughts with you. They might be a bit random and unstructured which is why I post them here and not ramble on in other threads.

Parry
Today I was thinking about how I could improve some of the UX in the game. I noticed that a lot of players try the parry, thinking that it's a melee. I think I might just do both? The melee can be useful to open doors, interact with stuff, probably not so much for combat. But the fact that players think that it does a melee is reason enough for me to add it, it'll parry at the same time.

I should also add an onboarding segment for that.

Menus
Player feedback has been to improve the menus - not intuitive enough and in general the style seems to be a bit meh. I haven't gotten specifics about what people want to see so I need to do some thinking, maybe take inspiration from other games, to improve it.

That's going to be my focus for this week.

Quite a lot of little changes went in over the last couple of weeks which improved the game.

Boss Fight
At the moment, I'm working on a boss fight which involves surfing with the hoverboard. It's quite a bit of work, still very early stages, but hopefully it'll turn out nicely. Taking some inspiration from karting games - or THE karting game I should say.
