"Controlled folder access blocked GK12.exe from making changes."

I am confused as to why I keep getting this Windows Security alert every time I open the game. Is anyone experiencing the same issue?

Update:
Resolved the issue. If you have "Controlled folder access" turned on (located in Ransomware protection), it may block an app that is safe. I turned this setting off because it might interfere with how I normally use my PC.
