Evgeny & Anastasia situation / quest are HORRIBLE !! (SPOILER!)
SPOILER ATTENTION!!!

The way these quests and the sympathies are designed is really frustrating and makes ZERO sense or fun! I haven't done anything to spark any romantic feelings in either of them. I've always been friendly but distant—except for that piano lesson, where I had no choice but to flirt a little because otherwise, I would have lost sympathy (what nonsense). :UnamusedOwlcat:

Now I'm getting letters from both of them. Anastasia suddenly wants to be with me, and if I say "no," I get NEGATIVE points, and she suddenly likes me way less, dropping from 100 to 50. What kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is that? And Evgeny wasn’t even available to talk—just drunk again … SO ANNOYING! :AngryOwlcat:
And part of his quest is suddenly considered failed, even though it was actually shown as completed. And in her bio, it says that I (!!!!) am also partly to blame for the failure of her marriage… I'm really mad about this crap: Yet another twist in this game that feels arbitrary and makes neither sense nor fun.

HORRIBLE! :hate:

EDIT:
In the end, it got really weird: I got one ending when I spoke to Anastasia (supposedly, she stayed with her husband, they were happy, and they had kids). Meanwhile, in Evgeny's case, it was said that he left his wife and started a new life with his pen pal... really bugged.

I was pretty much friendly with Anastasia, but I've never experienced the same issue as you. Maybe you've picked a romantic option by accident.

I once had the same situation with Alisa as I've missed the "(flirty)" in her text box and I've ended up with her kissing Liza.

And yeah, character endings tend to be bugged. I had one character spend time with Liza in extra chapter/epilogue, but then I was told that Liza broke up with them and they died.

If you say to Eugeny that his poem is brilliant, he will fall for you. The man just likes flattery that much.
