Where is the lake?

I just got the quest to save the boy who is drowned by the lake but I have no idea where that is or how to get there. I thought it would be down that muddy road but it won't let me take that path and it's so shortly timed to get there. I keep reloading the game to no avail... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's odd. It sounds like you may have run into a bug. It is down the muddy road, but the road clears up as you progress through the main quest. I couldn't say which chapter it is but for me it was well before I got the save the boy quest.

You should have access to it already... But quick question, are you trying to go through the mud path in the bat form? If yes, turn into human and try to enter now

Well shoot, I hope it's not a bug..do you know what chapter quest it's related to? I could see if I could go back a day in my auto save hopefully but I'm worried I'm going to have to restart the game.

Sorry, no. I'll be replaying the game from scratch once the Xbox Chapter 2 bug gets fixed (I've finished it on Steam) but I just noticed that the path was unblocked at some point.

Thank you, I just followed your advice and it worked! I feel like a dolt now. A chapter before when I tried to go down the path it wouldn't let me. But thankfully now it does as long as I switch to human form.
