How To Escape Gunshot?

i dont have 25 literature, so i could only pick between two options one mentioning my brother and one just turning invisible and running.

i have turned invisible and tried to escape in various different ways, but nothing works. i keep getting shot. do i need 25 literature to be able to make it past this part of the game? or am i missing something when i turn invisible?

No, any dialogues will not save you; you need to choose 'Run'. I first chose to blame Victoria for her participation and then selected 'Run'.
Then maybe press F, turn into a bat, fly to the doorstep, and go out.

that's so strange, i tried to do that! guess i wasnt quick enough. thank you:)

You need to fly to the bottom of the doorstep because you need to touch the "go-to-new-location icon" that's at the bottom. So, don't fly to the ceiling.
