How to give the violin?

I have tried multiple times now but I cannot give the violin to Merusia :(. Do I need to trigger something specific?

If you talk to her in the bookstore, it should give you the dialogue option to give it to her.

It didn't give me that option and she now isn't in the bookstore anymore. Thanks for your help tho!

I guess more of the question to this, is how "early" can you give it to her. After doing the money farming at chapter 2 you could easily fast track certain money barrier related quests early.

I'm also having this issue! I have a book for her as well but no option to give it to her

Me too! I’m so sad that I can’t end her quest properly even with all the right items. Even adding to that, even if I have more than one thousand coins, the option at the fields to give her 50 coins to help with her studies appears locked. :<
(I play Cabernet on Nintendo Switch but I imagine the issues are the same)
