On my PC with my wired PS5 gamepad, that is detected and works fine (and I can switch using it and my keyboard anytime during gameplay even).
However my wireless Steam Controller doesn't work at all. First game in all these years that it simply doesn't work in. (As normally if a game doesn't have any gamepad support at all, the Steam Controller defaults to its right touchpad controlling the mouse cursor, and L&R triggers as L&R mouse buttons.)
On my Steam Deck last night I thought it'd be great to plug into my TV in my gothic styled den while I curled on the couch...
My 8BitDo SN30 Pro BT gamepad that I always use with my Steam Deck also was not at all detected/used with the game, but was working fine outside this game on the SD overall.
(I did play! I plugged in a wireless keyboard+touchpad with a USB dongle in the hub I use for the SD. Sufficient, but not awesome.)
I took a photo of Cabernet in my den last night which you may enjoy![i.imgur.com] =)
