I haven't heard of this issue before, but I might have some stuff you can try. Just as a kind of anecdote, a very long time ago I remember my graphics card control panel settings causing similar issues with some games. That would be the place I would start. Depending on your vendor, I would try either resetting your global preferences, or creating a profile specifically for CDHD so you can try out some different things.
Forcing AA or AF filtering can sometimes cause similar graphics artifacts. We also happen to use Unity, which can cause its own sort of issues. If you can, try using default settings to see if that clears stuff up. If that doesn't do anything you could try updating or rolling back your drivers to see if that changes anything.
This probably has nothing to do with it, but for me I sometimes forget to reset my SteamVR settings back to 1.0 or 1.5 render scale from running simpler, less demanding games. There are also some settings there you could experiment with regarding variable rate shading and the like. If you would like further help in that let me know. I can look up some guides for SteamVR graphics settings specifically.
I would start with your graphics control panel, maybe update or downgrade drivers, and make sure your render scale is set up for CDHD. It's not the most demanding game in the world, but it does use Unity and that doesn't always play nice with everyone.
Good luck and please do let me know how it goes, and if you need any additional assistance!
Cheers,
