Please consider reducing Alucard's health or healing options
I did my first game of D&DG with a starting heart deck and after I reached Alucard's fight it became hilariously awful.
He kept healing and healing with that blood donation card, so any kind of damage I dealt, he managed to recover in two turns!
I stayed on that fight for what it felt at least 15 minutes and it ended as a loss because I mistakenly pressed hit instead of stand too many times...

I feel either a nerf on that card or just halving his health could be beneficial for that specific fight.
A starvation mechanic could also work to avoid having the feeling of being trapped in a situation where nobody can win.

He's meant to be a counterpart to the Bouncer, who is even more obvious about the whole "bring disruption or die" thing.

You're still learning the game. Patience.

Fair, but only partially.
It teached me a good lesson, to not rely on only one seed, but I would've wanted to at least die as soon as possible, it felt extremely frustrating!
I still stand on either of my two proposals, but I'll get better at the game.

There actually is a mechanic where eventually they'll start adding Scratches to both decks, and Alucard specifically has a copy to start with after people complained about this exact problem in the demo.

Interesting.
I remember that card being there, but I always managed to recover all health...
Maybe it was just "bad luck" on how I built my deck, because I remember having a jack of hearts with an active were it would've always make me reach 21

Yeah, Alucard is a massive nuisance to fight against with Hearts, which is why I prefer going up with that deck - there's a guy in the third area that also runs a Blood Donation Card, but at least their deck isn't all Hearts.

The point about bringing disruption is valid though, Bouncer's deck is exactly 3 cards: 10 - 10 - 21 (Forgot the suit)
You *can* bank on them drawing a 10 into 21 for a Bust, but if you have any card destruction, or heck, a single Business Card to remove a 10, the fight becomes much easier, and if you have enough card destruction (multiple copies, or just something that doesn't burn itself, like Yellow Card), then you can just destroy their whole deck and give them a permanent score of 0.

Scratch's damage goes up every time a copy of it is used. If you go on long enough, eventually it will deal more damage than you can heal off. That's why it's the stallbreaker.

Tried and true method, use a business card and take the blood donor card. You can also use any burn card and burn it. Than if you have terminate the tower or any card that changes the rules, use it so Alucard busts. Alucard will end up healing you and you control the game. What's great about Terminate the Tower is you get to pick from 4 cards: Break Limits that doubles value, Sweep the Leg that changes the rules, Scratch and Expulsion. Hope this helps.
