demo wont load

wondering if a known issue? playing on steamdeck. when i try to launch, its wont and says 'compatibility tool' wont run?

Did it work on a previous version and has recently stopped working or has it never worked? I haven't done any testing or work to support the Steam Deck yet

Hey thanks for getting back. I just downloaded it that night. First time trying. Redownloaded as as well after uninstalling. Also rebooted. All the basic stuff.

I am able to get it working on the SteamDeck with Proton Experimental, fwiw.

Hey! Thank you for the heads up. That did it! This game is really cool, unique and charming.

To the Dev: seriously going to be a day 1 purchase from me. I can’t wait for this to release? Any idea when?

Only feedback I have at all is possibly something you’ve heard already? When getting the offer of a new card it would be cool to be able to access your deck to remember/see what you have prior to selection. It’s not make or break or anything. Just a thought.

Oh and one question, for anyone really. Is there supposed to be sound? There’s no sound at all. Is that normal?

To answer your questions:

This is copy paste from the FAQs in the Discord:
When is the game coming out?
I currently work a full time job and have a 2 year old so I only get to work on the game for about an hour per day after they've gone to sleep.
I also don't want to rush into a promised deadline that I can't meet and then have to either delay or (worse) put out an unfinished game. So I don't have a release date set yet, but once I do the Discord will be the first to know!

You can see your deck by clicking the ID Card in the top left corner!

Try out going to the settings menu and clicking the RESET button in top right corner. There have been a few issues with sound but this seems to always fix it

Thanks for getting back on that stuff. Believe me, I get it completely. I started a boardgame publishing company in 2020 as a casual hobby. Unexpectedly it got much much bigger than I expected and much faster than I ever would have thought. I also have a very brutal day job. This is such a blessing and a curse when you’re a creative juggling both of those things, while simultaneously trying not to “let people down” etc etc. 😅

So yeah. I get it. Take your time. Day 1 here even if it comes out in 2046! You made a really good thing. I am loving it!
