Loot Boxes and/or Calamari game card Broken
I bought over 4,000 chips worth of loot boxes on a health deck. I ended up with a 49 card deck with 3 trap cards, discard, a bunch of negative cards, calamari game card, the sun, along with some other cards. The last 2 fights I was able to draw my entire deck and win on the first turn because I went so far into the negatives and had a trap card out in play. Thanks to having my entire deck in the play that means i also had a calamari game card in play which would allow me to gain another 1,000 chips. I understand that this deck would practically lose against any enemy that has more than 200 health as I was dealing 69 damage on turn one, but I don't see many enemies having more than 200 health in the full game.

I just want to bring attention to this, but I will say I only played 4 runs and only watched 2 others, but this was the most fun I have had and seen from this game. I took 2 screenshots of this cause I was laughing my head off from it and uploaded them publicly to steam. It was also risky because I had 9 hp before I got to the loot boxes. This was also during a stream while I was screen sharing and the streamer was watching the screen.

I think raising the cost of loot boxes by 25 or 50 chips after the first 1 or 2 purchases could make it better, but that is just a suggestion.

I just went through 36 loot boxes in a row and barely got any good cards, so I don't think its a good idea to just increase the cost after one or two. If there is to be an increase in cost, I would suggest doing so after adding a certain number of cards to your deck.
Honestly, the loot boxes are fun. Maybe it's calamari that needs nerfing.

I had 5500 chips by playing risky and busting just to try and get calamari almost every round since i got it a ton of negative or any special cards I was also stuck at negative 50s so I had to use the ace in my sleeves over and over again to try and be positive. I got the lovers as my last card in my deck so i kept picking the lovers and since it was last i immediately could pull another The Lovers over and over till I was too positive with so many aces and valentines and lovers.

Calamari is the best card w/out a doubt, get a couple card sleeves and you'll just get 1000 for every fight

didn't even think about that, sounds like an easy way to get money as long as you don't die. I actually do not believe I got any chances to get card sleeves on my run though.

the nerf to the negative aces is going to stink for this build

My method of cheating was to have a deck with a lot of those "round up" cards that are worth .5 (starts at 0, goes to 1) and 2s. Then I had a loyalty card that I abused and a couple of negatives. I got rid of my kings and queens and such as often as possible (through the sleeping man and such).

But the way to win: I ran the chip that says you get one advantage for every card in play when you get blackjack.

So.... I'd have like 12 cards in play, then keep tapping my loyalty card 9 times. As long as I got one blackjack, that's pretty much all I needed to win like 80% of the time. And if I got busted, there was sometimes that tarot card that says "exploit: draw another card if busted".
