Yarego said it very well:
project justice is the best way to play rival schools
At this point, what stops them from developing new 2D fighting games? Like, for example, Capcom vs. SNK 3, balance the old stuff, recycle more characters from older games, like Third Strike, Darkstalkers, and SF Alpha, and adjust the hitboxes and animations with frequent updates. You get my point, the official Capcom Mugen. That way they won't need to make new 3D fighting games from scratch when people still play and like 2D fighters.
That's what I'm wondering. Since the new Street Fighter games came out since IV, I haven't bought any. They're slow, and I don't like them.
I think it's a first test to see if a Capcom vs. SNK 3 is worthwhile and to see the number of online players. I hope Capcom reads this forum and makes a Capcom vs. SNK 3 in 2D pixel art (I know they're harder to develop since each character can take a long time to be ready) with current technology. As you say, it would be fantastic, and I wouldn't mind if it had microtransactions.
If you want the next game to be the 3rd, buy this game and play it, even though it's going to have a lot of players.
Right now, as I write this, there are a ton of people on Fightcade2online training like crazy, aware of the game's release on PC (I've already been told).
I hope and pray it's a success.
MUGEN = Mostly mediocre games.
CvS2 = A work of art.
I don't know what world you live in, but you're out of touch with reality. Capcom vs. SNK 2 is the main reason I bought the game, and Capcom released this game in this compilation, conscious of the many players currently playing it. If you saw the number of players from all over the world playing it (new and old players), you wouldn't have thought of saying such a stupid thing.
Why is it mediocre? Why do you say that? What's so mediocre about the game?
If it were that bad, there wouldn't be so many players more than 20 years later.
Your weak argument falls flat on its own.
Don't pay attention. I get the feeling they're just here to push people away and make the game a flop and not sell. But don't worry, their company is doomed to fail, and they won't achieve their goal.
Just say yes, we'll enjoy it to the fullest.
