The execution (can) be nuts on some characters, but I wouldn't worry about that. Good neutral is where your life starts and ends in CVS2.
I've been a Capcom vs SNK 2 player since it came out on the Arcade and DreamCast, then I got it on the first Xbox for online and it was amazing, I'm currently playing on FightCade 2 which is on the arcade as is, it's a fighting game with capital letters and not suitable for novices with one-button magic (I think they've put a mode for one-handed people like EO in this version), when you master it well, in my case with the S Grove, the fights are authentic anime episodes in motion with hits and magic at lightning speed, tremendously addictive and comforting, difficult, online you're going to find real beasts like me and others better than me, so I would train you with any emulator and the game, otherwise you're going to have a bad time. This version is amazing, it's the arcade version but improved with panoramic format, HD 1080p in all textures, extra characters and screens, extra music, various filters but one in particular that gives the characters practically anime quality (My Favorite) and Rollback network code for online, simply essential and an unbeatable work of art.
That's true, but it's not an alternative, I master each and every character to perfection including the extra characters and if you take only one character to play online even if it's Ratio 4 and you face a player with three characters who is experienced you'll have nothing to do, I would tell you to take the 3 characters you like the most and train like crazy with them, remember the special hits by heart and try to execute them before the last hit or combo ends as quickly as possible, only then will you get victories and remember that with the extra characters "Evil Ryu - Good Rugal - Orochi Iori and Shin Akuma in Ratio 4 in practically three hits you have killed them and if you don't master them you will lose in less than 30 seconds.
It may be, but for me the key is speed. You have to be faster than your opponent in executing the movements perfectly. Before a movement ends, you have to be executing the other one or a super. With the S-Groove at the end of the fight, you can execute all the supers in a row infinitely, and if you're fast, you'll be almost invincible.
You believe it? Well, I'll challenge you to a few fights when the game comes out. Let's see if you can beat me in one with just one character in ratio 4. You'll take the beating of your life and I'll still have one character left.
But also, I am speaking to a beginner level for someone playing other beginners and trying to learn the game. I already know how to play and already know my characters.
Perfect, I like brave people, I'm sure it'll be one or more great fights.
I imagine you're talking about beginners, which is why they've added a one-handed mode like EO in this version, although I don't know if it'll be available online.
The vast majority of those who will buy this game will be veterans like us. Right now, there are people training like there's no tomorrow in Fightcade2 online, and I'm just warning them because I don't want new players to get frustrated.
Yes, if you master them perfectly and don't make any mistakes during combat, while it's true that they're terrible and take a considerable amount of life, especially at Ratio 4, the opposite also happens, and you're dead in three or four hits.
Extra characters are a double-edged sword.
I agree to a certain extent. It's true that K "Samurai Shodown" and C Groove "Street Fighter Alpha" are the easiest, but for me the least rewarding. Although the game is very well balanced, I prefer S Groove "King of Fighters." If you manage to leave me with a low health bar, I'll be doing supers one after the other without letting you breathe, and I'll still have time to recharge the super bar and hit you with an ultra-powerful super that will destroy you.
As I said before, the key to this game for me is speed and knowing everything by heart, executing the movements before the previous one finishes.
I Played it to death on XBox online and dreamcast, I can't wait to play it again! (I have not played emulations or roms etc)
It's just perfect, and the way crossover fighting games should be.
Time to unleash my Dan Hibiki once again !
THIS BATTLE IS ABOUT TO EXPLODE.
FIGHT.
