The Ship crash on lauch?

i am getting the same problem.....I cant start the games (s(SP and MP))via steam....i did try the non steam way and it got me to the first cutscene of SP and then nothing........and whit MP i couldnt connect to Masterr serverr.

If it only opens windows cmd : Click on Steam at the top left of Steam. Click settings. It should open the account tab. Go down until you see beta participation, and change it to Steam Beta Update.

Well it`s their fault that the game is still running then. They can`t just get money for their game and want US to fix the problems whether we can`t or can....

I assume you guys get The Ship Can't load blablabla filesystem.dll am I right? I haven't fixed my game so I can launch it thru Steam but there's a way to play it, atleast for me. Just go into your Steam folder, steamapps, common balbalbalaa then find The Ship. Then what do you do? Just press the ship.exe file, the file with the SHIP ICON on it and it has to be the executable one(can't spell very good I think).

Now if this works you will probably be like ey thanks man but you're not done yet. First of all you can only play against bot because you will notice you can't find any server cause The Ship haven't been launched thru Steam. So if you got Steam open which I think you have just go to the top left corner and press view and then servers and filter it to The Ship. Here you will find and should find all active servers and then just right click one and view server info. Then copy the ip and the port together as for example: 174.34.157.132:27017(one of The Ship servers). Now go into The Ship and press join server or whatever it's called, press the favorites tab, add new server in the bottom tab and paste the ip and VOILA, you can play the game online again.
This is one weird problem indeed cause for me the game worked great and then it just nope I don't wanna work today man you gotta fix me.

Thank you for reading this long and probably boring information about how to get The Ship work again. BTW if this doesn't work for you I'm sorry but it worked for me I wish you the best luck cause this is one underrated game and it deserves more attention in my opinion!

For me problem is absolutely different. I can't even OPEN the damn game. I mean not even the mainscreen or anything. When I click play "The Ship" (via Steam library) it immediatly crashes.
