How to restart a Counter-Strike Source server

Hi guys!
I contacted Steam support for a little problem:

I can't restart my server by rcon:
'rcon _restart', 'rcon quit', 'rcon exit' -> ''Disconnect: Server shutting down."
Then server crash /stop

Steam supprot said me to update Metamod and Sourcemod but nothing...
And they said me to post here (are you really better support? I hope!)

My servers are on linux and windows and no one work.

Have you ideas?

About restart, I don't know what are you trying to say 'How to restart server'. Just say on the server's console 'quit' or 'changelevel <your map' to restart it. I recommend you using the 'quit' command, because changing the level won't install the addons like MetaMod. Only work on SourceMod after installing the MetaMod. So I recommend you to use the 'quit' command & starting again the server.

I really want a restart...
And all rcon commands for restart are doing only an useless shutdown...

It's your server decicated/bought? All the commands I send you is fully working.

Yes it's my dedicated servers and your commandes are for changing maps and SHUTDOWN not RESTART...

Shutdown or Changing map it's restart the server. Like computers, restart or shutting down it, it will restart it anyway, so these commands will restart your server.

Sorry but my servers doesn't restart after a "quit" only crash -> shutodwn...

Make sure your addons is fully updated.

Try checking your plugins. Maybe some bad-compiled plugin makes you an error on server at shutting down it.

Since the Steam Pipe Update the "_restart" Command don't work anymore. It only shutdown the server.
I have the same problem with my TF2 Server.

Ok I found the solution, I think Steal_my_Name you're using OGP.

I had the same problem and all you need to do is remove any pieces of plugins that you just removed, Lets say you installed a Retakes plugin and then you remove it, MAYBE you didn't remove all the plugin maybe you removed the plugin from the Scripting folder but MAYBE you didn't remove it from the Plugins folder.
im just saying that you should do a total search for unnecessary Plugins Thats all
