Counter Strike, Source does not work

Dear readers,

I use most recently, Windows 7 and now I have also Steam and Counter Strike, Source installed. If I want to start the game, nothing happens. Before the game ran on Windows Vista without problems.

If I set Steam and hl2.exe on the compatibility mode Windows Vista and nothing happens.

When I use the Counter Strike; give the same setting source of hl2.exe and ausführe as an administrator, the error message: Setup file 'gameinfo.txt' does not exist in subdirectory 'hl2'. Check your-game parameter or vconfig setting.

I know what to do with it. Can anyone help me?

Hi is not OS problem. I have ubuntu 13.10. Before cs 1.6 and cs:s work without problem. Three day backwards these games dont does not work. After run game set my status
for three seconds in-game and nothing more. L4D2 and dota work....
Nowhere on the Internet is not the answer or solution

When in the game folder I want to start the hl2 application it tells me:

Setup file 'gameinfo.txt' does not exist in subdirectory 'hl2'. Check your-game parameter or vconfig setting.

That surely means that the gameinfo.txt in the folder hl2 missing. If I create a blank text file in the folder hl2 comes the error message:

hl2/gameinfo.txt is not a valid format.

I think that the error is because the Counter Strike, Source will not start. But what do I do now?

yep i reinstall game and steam... but l4d2 or dota works.. only cs ans cs:s not
