If you want to check other's people profile while in-game, just press Shift and Tab at the same time, and click on "View Players"

For me this method is bugged after some latest updates and shows no current players or only few of'em (Win7 x64).

I've found 2 solutions:
1) Shift+TAB > Web Browser > Go0gle: [steamcommunity NICKNAME]
2) Disconnect > Shift+TAB > [VIEW PLAYERS] > RECENT GAMES

LoL. I don't have no-steam servers in my Fav list. Always using
"Do not include (tags): no-steam", when searching for the servers at 'Internet' tab.

Maybe the reason is Steam was never bugfree and probably will never be?

didnt even know you could do the view players but as GrO said i only see 4 players out of 30

The best solution, is to go in your friend list while in game, and then in Players section. You have the list of every player on the server

When you are in game, the Player section appear.

All Friends / Blocked Users / Recently Played With / Following / Players
