Can't download files from servers?

Whenever I try to join a server with a custom map, I get an error saying I am missing the map even though it shows it being downloaded, same goes for materials and models and ♥♥♥♥. When I check my CS:S folder none of the things it said it had downloaded are there. I didn't have this issue on W7 but on the W10 beta i am having this issue.
Help?

It is already set to allow custom files

Try typing this command in console:

cl_allowdownload 1
cl_downloadfilter all

I've got the same problem since installing W10 beta and still haven't found a fix.

Same here.. But CS:GO etc works fine..

Formatted harddrive and went back to windows 8.1 and reinstalled csgo, all works fine now.

CSGO works on win 10 , but i cant download maps in css ( sounds and other things i can download from servers)

Yeah this is a windows 10 issue for sure, which is annoying as I use it as my daily driver.

ok first,goto options,then go under multiplayer,on the right side right below the screenshot click on that then pick Allow all custom files from server and then click apply and your good to go
