Audio settings, background mute, cannot be switched during play

Changes have become impossible. Does this happen to other people too?

I’m having the same issue…i can hear anymore sounds like bomb timer or when you swap the guns.

What does it say in console when you attempt to change it? I have a sneaking suspicion the way the commands works in CS:GO/CS2 has been pack ported into the game.

Same here its really annoying. The option to silence audio in the game background doesnt work and it doesnt even let me untick it

What does it say in console when you attempt to change it? I have a sneaking suspicion the way the commands works in CS:GO/CS2 has been pack ported into the game.

If you change it in the console, it will look like this

Can't change snd_mute_losefocus when playing, disconnect from the server or switch team to spectators

So they've backported more useless CS:GO functionality into the game. Your only solution is to do what the command says and join spec
