CSS running EXTREMELY SLOW on windows 10
hey so i just installed windows 10 and the game launches fine, and i can join servers and all, but my FPS is horribly slow, maybe a 5 fps average. i had windows 8.2 previously and everything ran perfectly. i have a brand new computer a friend built for me earlier this summer.

If you have updated your system to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1, you should try to install the proper drivers for your processor and graphic card. Those must be released specifically for Windows 10, or download the most recent driver for Windows 8.1, right-click on the installer, and choose "Troubleshoot compatibility", which should install/update the driver more properly than the normal installation.

Note that Windows 10 is still in the beta phase, so it probably still has issues to fix or Steam and some of its games must update to be supported on this operating system.

Thanks for the info, a few minutes ago after i posted this i opened up the NVIDIA GeForce program and it's installing the new windows 10 driver. (dont laugh at me, i'm not very educated in computers) if i have any further problems after that, i'll post in here again.

finished updating the driver, ran video stress test, and came out to just over 296 fps. guess the mind works wonders when you actually use it, lol. thanks for the help!

Works fine for me, didn't really need to do anything as well. Just click and play.

There are users that still have problems even if they've updated their drivers. If you know someone that has similar problems, let them know that it may be the operating system (if it's not the system itself).

I'm glad that you've fixed the issue.
