how do you get a custom spray?

i can't seem to be able to get a custom spray for whatever reason, someone help!

The max image's resolution should be at 512x512 pixels. Just move the picture into
"..\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\" to find it easier, then select it in the game. Make sure you aren't connected to a server because you may need to rejoin on it after you've selected the decal.

when i go to save a pic where do i save it to (my documents?) or what?

You can also save it in "..\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\decals\". Create a folder named as "decal" or another name, and save the picture in there.

since steampipe it should be:
"..\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\custom\*folder*\decals\"

The "custom" folder are for custom stuff like sounds, materials, models, etc. You can use a normal file's destination to use a decal.
