[SOLVED] cant see my messages in text chat

when i type something it doesnt show, but people respond and it prints in the console

SOLUTION: The problem was already solved but in TF2 in this post: https://steamcommunity.com/app/440/discussions/0/616189743031053000
Although its for TF2 the command is still

cl_mute_all_comms 0

Also unmute yourself in-game

Are u able to see what others are saying???

Try typing "hud_saytext_time 12" in console, which should 'enable' the chat. If you're still not seeing what you type, but you can see what other players are saying, it means that you're muted in that server.

I'm not muted because it shows that i've said it in the console and everyone reacts to what i say

Looks like a little type issue, do you have arial & helvetica fonts installed on your windows?

Muted is probably on a server because you talked too much, that happened to me once. Talking too much is not well greeted.

Liem, did u solved this problem? I have this same... On my own server or only private with bots i cant see what i am typing... And sending... I allready reinstall game and too try delete and create new cfg but still this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mental ♥♥♥♥!.. Ahh..
