CSGO Texture Pack Doesn't Work

I put it in cstrike/custom, it don't work; i put it in cstrike/materials, i get a runtime error; i put it in cstrike/custom/[foldername], it don't work. wtf am i supposed to do?

i've installed many mods manually before, but this mod don't have any instructions

It's a very dated mod it seems. One of the reasons as to why that happens is because it was released before the Steam Pipe update and it's unllikely for you to look for instructions since the mod is abandoned and no longer supported. Try looking for another one.

yeah and also i checked the files with 7-Zip and compared it to the vanilla textures via GCFScape, and the CSGO texture pack is missing files
