Can someone tell me why every single CSS/CS:GO bhop server has modified jump heights?

The sv_gravity is the same between my stock server and the ridiculous number of bhop servers, yet for some odd reason, bhopping on my stock server on bhop_eazy2 there was about .5 seconds less air time per jump compared to the bhop mod servers

Why?

It completely removes the practical application of bhopping which at its core was a method of practicing so you could utilize the skill on standard servers, and while I understand it's pretty much a dead skill outside of bhop maps, it still begs the question, why are we casual-ifying something that is meant to be a skill?

I could literally mistime every jump and get WR's on these servers, I'm not sure what kind of ♥♥♥♥'s implimented but it literally doesn't even feel like I'm the one doing the hopping, feels like a script 99% of the time. I get it, not everyone's good at bhopping, but there's a reason for it, this kind of nambypamby wishy-washy appealing-to-the-masses "That was easy" button ♥♥♥♥.

And in case you're wondering, no, I'm not ♥♥♥♥♥ing because I'm bad, I've got top10 on every bhop map I've played in under 20 minutes, it's not fun, challenging, or engaging. You literally just throw on music and spam scroll and then suddenly you're at 2k velocity on the 2nd hop relying on nothing but strafe, which at that point should just be modified surf.

I'm complaining because I want to be able to improve, but I'm not allowed to with all of these handicaps

Logical? It seems that you are too lazy or stupid to set up a dedicated server.

All what you need is:
- SRCDS
- Metamod:Source
- Sourcemod
- Sourcemod bhop plugins (or correct sv_ settings)
- Bhop maps

Annnnddddd... these 'resources' are free.

Or you're just retarded and don't realize you need a specific upload speed to host.

Obviously you can run a server off of your desktop if it's powerful enough and if you know how to run the server through cmd prompt so you can run two versions of source at the same time.

I did it on my old internet back in 2010 for V34 Counter Strike when I hosted the XAD clan server for ~6 months.
And internet, isn't free.

I agree'd with all of your points, and the gave the internet counter-argument because that's what's preventing me from hosting a server. You're attacking me because you lost. No other reason. Enjoy that people.
