I can't load any servers! HELP!

I just recently re-downloaded (for the first time in 10 years) CSS, as this game literally took over my life as a teenager. For some reason, the list of servers will not load for me; it keeps coming back "No internet games responded to that query". I've tried to search via specific server IP's and none will come up. HELLLLLLP!

Close the game and reopen it.

If that doesn't work then I could invite you to the type of server you want to join as a temporary soution.

Still not having any luck. I've restarted steam, my computer, disabled firewalls, anti-virus, ect. When I try joining a specific sevrer IP- I get, "Server not responding".

Any Ideas??

Are you on a public wifi nework?

Stupid question but happen sometimes: have you simply check if there is no any filters?
If yes, take a look at your firewall to ensure that Counter-Strike Source can access to the internet.
You can also try to directly connect to a server without the server-browser by console command to know if the game can connect to servers without server-browser, or if the problem is somewhere else.

Nah, the only filter is Game:CS Source, and I'm on my home network. I have disabled all firewalls so that's not it either. Very frustrating!

You should not disable the rule of the firewall but allow the game.
Have you check if direct connections through console command works?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean =/

I also tried reinstalling Steam and CS:S with no success.

I assumed so myself, but 'Joheskiller' was able to get into a game yesterday, invited me, but i wasnt unable to join due to "Server not responding"
https://www.gametracker.com/search/css/US/ - this site shows that there are still plenty of servers still running, none of which I can connect to.

I've also released and renewed my IP, as well as flushed the dnp. Still. Nothing.

Yeah, it sounds like other people are having the problem but I am not. Weird
