tried on concol and pc. had a raft had the bait, draged the bait to the rod got it all set up. sat on a chair/bench and faced the water hitting the corroct controls (i tripple checked) and all the damn this seems to do is twitch in my characters hand. and solutions will be greatly apreated. oh and even restarted game but still nothing

Do you have a controller plugged in? If yes, try unplugging it.

I just tried it and it was a little glitchy but generally it worked and I did a 4 streak and got garbage loot so might not bother too much trying any more.
