I can't join my friend's dedicated server (crossplay)

I'm on Windows (game pass) and he's on Steam. He created a dedicated server on his PC and only he can connect. When I want to connect it tells me that the connection time has expired.

Has he allowed crossplay on his settings? On my Nitrado server settings in web interface I can choose which to allow access to server (pc steam, win games pass,ps5 etc)

make sure as said above is set in bat file
-crossplay -ServerPlatform=All

thx but he use this own pc

and the crossplay is enable

_-ServerPlatform=All is what is needed -crossplay is for epic players
