skins don't work

so everytime i download a mod that has furniture skins either the item you want to skin does not show up when you click on the skin or it only lets you drop the skin onto the house icon and then won't let you place the skinned item so i am going to say this
obviously the skin system is ark is broken or bugged so why do all the modders keep making skins they simply do not work i know how to use the skin system very well and i can tell you is borked please stop making skins and do static or dynamic props and placeables instead the skin system is broken

yep some skins still broken since some updates ago, they try to fix but now is worst:
