Armadoggo stuck underground bug

So on official I've had 4 Armadoggo companions become stuck underground when teleporting to me as I run faster than it can and I can Diagnose at least one cause of it or at least the conditions to cause it, In 2 cases I can confirm the dog tried to dig to me while I was in mid fall over a shallow body of water. I.E. Jumping through the wastelands on an enforcer. Whats important is I believe the dogs are stuck rather than antimesh deleted for two reasons. Reason 1, they still show up in the location on dino tracker, Reason 2, I can hear one of my dogs still barking as if its still there when I stand near the mark.

TLDR Wall of text aside, avoid shallow water when traveling fast with a companion dog.

I just had this happen to me today. I have been storing all my cryopodded creatures and blueprints in the dog. Have you found a fix for this? If I can't figure it out I'm probably done playing.
