My gf had a similar performance drop (60-70 on high settings down to 40-50 on medium) on her 3600 with 4070TS, so, whatever they've done recently has tanked performance even further
A simple unreal upgrade doesn't change anything, they need to actually use the new and improved things to make this upgrade worth. + Most of the performance issues have nothing to do with UE5 directly, but with the lackluster implementation and missing configuration of the Engine by Wildcard.
With the experience from ASE many years ago it's quite clear that ASA will never be the most optimized UE5 game we will see, but that the important performance updates will happen at the time of the 1.0 release. Not half way down.
ASA is a next gen game meant to be played at next game systems.
Stick to evolved if you are stuck with a 1080 or 20 series still. There is no update that will magically fix your outdated computer

Listen my specs are not the best out there, that's not the point, it runs like az that's the point.
Saying it runs bad only on older hardware its simply not true.
Check your framegraph to see how broken/stuttery ASA really is.
