Why can't I play? please help! heres my specs!

12th gen intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700KF (20CPUs),~3.6GHz
16384MB RAM


I have verified game files so many times. I can load up but I get a horrible STICKY lag every 30seconds to a minute. My internet is HIGH SPEED and I have been checking that as well. I just wanna play!

you should increase your ram to 32gb and you left out the most important thing the GPU from your specs

Also just to clarify... You don't have 20 cores you have 12. Hyper threading on 8 of those cores means it bumps the overall thread count to 20.

As asked above... Need to know your GPU.
Also be helpful to know whether it's a official server, unofficial, local, modded etc

Even on Single player im getting sticky lag :/ but the cluster i want to play on is heavily modded - everyone else plays on it fine

Try adjusting your game settings:

Bios, activate above 4g decoding to enshure all Pci-E Devices run at 64bit
and the highest possible Speed, also activate resizable Bar, disable CSM for intel.
Windows Systemdevices and disable ResolutionTimerService
(reduces nearly any Stuttering to 0).
Registry, disable GPU-Preemtion, Google for a Tutorial.
If ARK is just using for Example 80% of your GPU go to Nvidia Systemsettings
and create a new Profile for ARK. In that Profile deactivate all Antialising.
You will see no Difference ingame thanks to Dlss.
Its like Magic, Ark can now utilize 100% of your GPU.

I3 12100 and RTX 3050 here, all on high and some Settings like Viewdistance,
Textures on epic. Clouds and Fog off, GrasLength 0.5 (more realistic) also gains some FPS.
Forced Dlss4 Preset K/Performance. Looks better than Dlss3 Quality.
Island upper 50s, SE in the 70s, EXE in the upper 60s.
Locked to 50FPS no Drops, smooth and 0 Stuttering.

I had issues with bad fps and stuttering on my 4080, I found the FSR to be the cause. Once I disabled it my framerate stabilized and I had no more stuttering.
