New Updates Causing Crashes (anyone else?)

Since I updated last, most of my sessions crash and I don't know why. Is anyone else dealing with thisi? I keep my settings on low, and it keeps happening. :(

Restart your PC and don't run any other game and try it. I noticed if I play another game and then play ark it will crash every time within a few minutes of starting. But if I don't I hardly ever crash. Pretty sure it is a shader cache issue.

No the patch is 485 mb then steam redownloads the whole game file to prevent corrupted files and loss of save data. Annoying but could be worse.

lol the patch they just issued a few hours ago is decent made me get 160+ fps with frgen on properly now.

same here with the new update and the previous update I crash every time... . avec l'ancienne mise à jour et la nouvelle mise à jour je crash tout le temps

There have been several of us here, who haven't had a crash for months and since this wave of new recent updates we've suddenly had some, after a few tests we found that going back to an "old" version of the GPU driver made us go back to "no crash AT ALL", on Nvidia, test the 566.36.
Obviously, it may not work for everyone but who knows, for some?

After the big patch I could play with the occasional crash (this is Ark this is what happens), after the previous patch the performance was down and after the patch earlier today my system now locks up, I can't do anything other the force the PC to close. Its amazing how they consistently manage to make the game worse with each patch

I haven't had a single crash since all these patches have come out. But I only play local single player. I absolutely believe that playing multiplayer with mods will cause instability.

i am definitely having more crashes. before the patch i could fly from the desert to sanctuary without crashing most of the time. now i crash nearly every single time. the game does seem to be running smoother. if it wasn't for the crashes it would be a good patch.

Just did this on my GF PC with her 4070Ti and her FPS shot back for 30ish with 35ms frame times to 70-80-90 fps with 10 ms frame times
