So how long does patching take for everyone? Just curious.

Latest patch as of today was 613MB download and it patches that into the 183.4GB game, that is how it works.
Download + Patching took me 5-6 minutes, then the verifying took another 6-7 minutes, so total of +- 13 minutes for me to finish this patch.
I run Gigabit Internet along with a Gen 4 NVME Drive that has ARK installed, so I think this is a fair time for the data is checks.

I'm currently taking about 45 minutes guesstimate on DL and Patching on a SSD and roughly 450 mpbs DL speed, but I'm used to the whole patching literally taking half a movie's worth of time, Arks been this way since Evolved was in Alpha.

Same here, I have 117GB storage space left and I can't download a 613mb file, ridiculous.

Todays' patch download took just over 4 minutes, and verification took maybe 10 seconds.

Frustrating for sure,
it needs to move around over 180Gb of files, since you only have 117Gb free its not enough.
But I understand.

maybe 10 minutes for me if that, my download speed is only 30mbs
steam is showing the disk write at around 4.7gbs and I have 400 gigs free on this drive

the real story is my secondary drive which is 1tb, only has the ASA dev kit on it, and has 100 gigs free so every time the dev kit patches I need to do a full uninstall and reinstall. Likely won't be able to install it at all next DLC
