Unknow error

I was playing normally when I suddenly got kicked out of the game. Now, every time I try to join the Extinction map, I get an "Unknown Error." I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling ARK, clearing cookies, and even resetting my modem in case it was an internet issue, but the problem persists.

I was farming metal with some dinos on me when I got kicked, so they're probably gone forever because of this issue. Has anyone else experienced the same problem or found a solution?

As said on the Ark's twitter page, the Wildcard matchmaking service is down. Keep an eye on the status here:
https://status.epicgames.com/

According to twitter/X from Ark, they turned off all servers while they work to fix the issues with servers not showing for others. (hope this helps)

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but how is this related to Epic Online Services when the issue seems to be mostly happening on Steam?
