Custom Cosmetics Not Working

I bought a few premium custom cosmetics and was using them to build for days with no problem. Now all of a sudden in the middle of a session I can no longer drag a custom cosmetic structure skin from the cosmetics tab to my hotbar.

The hotbar pulses cyan like it is waiting for me to pick a spot to drop it into (like I always have in the past) but when I let go of the mouse button nothing happens.

Even more bizarre is if I select my inventory tab after being in the cosmetic tab none of my items appear in the inventory tab. I have to close the inventory completely and reopen it for any items to show.

Any help would be appreciated.

in terms of player (left) menu and cosmetic (Right) menu
open inventory
open cosmetic tab
from the right side menu there are 2 tabs, click the left tab (item cosmetics)
There should be a structure skin, right click and remove skin
you should now be able to place the skin in inventory again

Some skins dont need to be cleared and others do for some reason. Hope this fixes your issue

I had the same issue. Following another thread I used the specimen implant to "reset" then you access the inventory of the previous life and delete the cosmetic skin in that inventory. For some reason it seems to glitch and stay in the hotbar even when it is removed after using.
