there are skins that even work on official called no sound
find it in the mods section

I place generator far enough so i don't hear it. But Fabricator is definitely annoying, always was, for years. I'll check out that mod.

Modded ones like Cyber Structures are mute, if you're on official you're out of luck I guess.
