Private Server Recommended Specs?
With windows 10 coming to an end, and so many ASA maps out now ... I am thinking about a new "cheap" pc to continue to self-host my worlds.
Any recommendation on what would work best?

I was thinking something in the 4ghz/8 core range with 64gb of ram with several TB of M2 storage. no need for a fancy GPU. Am I on the right track for a decent server that can host a cluster of all the maps without bogging down ... or am I over/under thinking things?

Suggestions/Thoughts are welcome.

That setup sounds good to me however when i hosted a server each one takes up around 16gb of ram on its own and that was just an island server with 4 players the only change i can think of is 128gb of ram but i recommend you test out your current pc first
I run my server with AMP ( https://cubecoders.com/ ) on Windows 10 LTSC cpu: i7-13700 with 64GB Ram, 4TB m.2 nvme - one server show 3% CPU and round about 12 GB RAM usage ... so your setup sound good..
as above but i would major on the ram as even 64GB is gonna ltd you. second its cores again 8 is ok but 16 is very nice and not much diff in price. yeah the faster the cores the better. depends on if ya have mods installed and how many players but heres a ball park figure and it tarry`s with the above . my server Ryzen 9 5950x 16 cores, 128 GB ram 4TB nvme I comfortably runs 11 servers with upto 20+ players across the cluster, CPU is 20-40% mem is anywhere from 55-80%. when servers are started at first the usuage is high 11-16GB per map, this settles back after approx 10 mins. This happens because areas go into stasis, a busy map stays active and consumes more memory. Also wipes and backups contribute to additional cpu and memory use. I run the usual 23 mods, most are light.
