I honestly dont know what they are doing in those offices. Because the game isnt progressing whatsoever or any mayor DECADE OLD bugs are fixed.
This game is lost and the company deserves to go down in flames
decade old bugs !
maybe not in flames 😅
i think they should fix but also improve
its always about "content"
why not improve to its best what is there already
they once had the push with those argentavis and mammut rework etc.
rafting is feelsbad, weapons are feelsbad, gunplay is feelsbad
pve feelsbad because of pvp balancing
And this mod/map isn't even half finished yet. At least when Rag launched with the desert region inaccessible, it was free so waiting wasn't so bad. And the 'new' tame is just a reskinned Genesis Part 2 tame, the Maewing, with the same functions.
However I'm hoping to be surprised in the future, hopefully the upcoming Unreal Engine update, Rag rework etc will be good for the game. The biggest issue the game had for a long time was the performance and crash issues (especially in the first couple months), I imagine the player numbers will peak with Rag's re-release since that seemed to be most peoples favourite map, and if there is a big performance improvement, more people from Evolved will likely make the switch.
Keep in mind:
1. There are multiple 3rd party studios that have been outsourced to do work on the game, just like they did with evolved.
2. Due to the fiscal accountability issues that have existed with Snail-Wildcard now for a long time that have been discussed and yt/game news folks have covered, and as well due to a layoff at WC back in May, focus has been to put out, even if unfinished like Astraeos, content that can be monetized as well as through the premium mods revenue.
3. Being in EA, they're able to claim work in progress disclaimers as an "as is" purchase for people considering the game and to kite accountability for various issues you've outlined.
4. Not all issues stem from the game side either. There's not a small number of cases where its user end issues but people tend to not differentiate either.
