Extinction release was/is horrible.

Here's why: The obvious is because they delayed it of course, but even after that and complete reloads of the game, they got it running! woot! But yea, good luck getting on an extinction server unless you rent one.

yesterday i managed to get into one server, download my survidor, play like an hour or two.. disconnected and today i was unable to login, server is full so pretty much i got my character stuck there, the server situation is bad

They allocated plenty more PvP servers though, and from what I understand they aren't suffering the same fate as PvE servers all being full. It's a real shame they refuse to implement a queue system for PvE servers, that would at least stop it being a lottery as to whether you get to join a full server or not.

My weird situation is I can log in on unmodded official, and modded extinction, but not any other part of the modded official cluster, so while my extinction base is doing fine, my other bases are stuck. Nothing is in danger for a few days, so I'm hoping maintenance fixes whatever the issue is, but it's always something on launch week lol.

Official servers aren't the end all and be all of a game. Guess you don't realize that the majority of Ark players play single player and on unofficial servers.

From your comment a person would think you haven't played Ark for very long, otherwise you'd know the release/delay of ASA Extinction was actually pretty short and smooth compared to past releases in both ASE and ASA.

Having a great time play Extinction on SP. ;)
