Otherwise? Same as ASE; just with more fog - which is now WC's new "4 types of rocks" when improving maps.
base UE5 is so bland and boring.
The wastelands are definitely meant to be a patrol space and not a permanent base.
Go play PVE and attend to your dinos.
I believe if you actually read what the OP wrote, you'd understand better..
The comment(s) were not about the setup of the map; it's about the insanely crappy job they did when converting it over to ASA, and adding all their foliage and redesigns..
It's complete ♥♥♥♥. Many of the areas in the center city, Dinos sink into the ground. You get stuck on invisible crap, there are floating rocks everywhere, and even on the bridge exiting the city to the lower right of the map, there is a large floating clump of land material, and many other garbage redesign choices.. The textures are ♥♥♥♥.. I run the game on Epic settings, with 4K, and it looks terrible compared to Aberration, Scorched & The Island..
Feet off the ground? What does that even mean? The process of getting wiped is still more fun than playing pointless PVE.
"waah my meshing exploits don't work" is the most ridiculous one that's come lately
Again we have a guy here saying only PVP matters on the same page that he's ranting about not being able to use an exploit to make PVP playable.
Like most other PVPVE games the PVP purists are at least consistent enough to remember to pretend exploiting isn't happening.
Or, you know, be smart enough not to talk about it instead of acting offended when the devs patch what you say on their forums you're doing.
