Ark Dedicated Server Not updating (Error! App '2430930' state is 0x6)

Hello All,

Trying to update my Dedicated Steamcmd Ark server since the Extinction Update.

Server is on version 56.18 and will not update to 57.12

Update state (0x3) reconfiguring, progress: 0.00 (0 / 0)
Update state (0x3) reconfiguring, progress: 0.00 (0 / 0)
Error! App '2430930' state is 0x6 after update job.

Several Dedicated Ark servers are giving the same error when i try to update them even with the validate option.

Anyone else have this issue or a fix for it?

mine are updating but only 3 will connect.....and its excruciatingly slow update


Edit: Slow process, but I'm up and running again

I got mine working.. I went into the steamcmd server files --> steamapps folder and deleted the appmanifest_2430930.acf

Then I did a validate again and it fixed the issues and got the latest updates.

This affected 4 of my Ark servers so it was something systemic that was the issue, but im just glad i was able to get it updated.

I had to remove all mods, update, and then add my mods back one by one. Certain mods would not work afterwards either

I was getting the no subscription issue as well after deleting the manifest file, so I ran the command to update using my steam credentials that owns a copy of the game and it updated to 57.17.
