750gb disk requirement for 1gb update...

ive been playing ark for a long time. a few day days ago i bought ark survival ascended to play story arks once again and try the new dinos i saw on youtube. i played a hour then got bored because of the low fps. now i wanted to try the play again cus i saw some threads about the performance increase commands.
there is an update for 1 gb BUT when i try update it literally says low disk space and wants 750gb storage for update.....
i could reinstall game to fix it but if its gonna happen every update then im gonna refund it due to my 50mbps internet

i think the problem caused by steam not the game
i just downloaded half life 2 rtx which shown as 82gb it downloaded 35gb and 48gb free storage left from 90gb but steam shows its a 124.3gb download

You probably have it downloaded on a SSD. If that's the case, switch it to your HDD. That worked for me.

i dont have a hdd but i got m2 nvmi should i transfer to it?

well if u close your pc while downloading for tomorrow it gives the disk space error again...
