Pyromane = Useness now, waste of $$ and time, 100% dead.

ok, to be fair, i found an (extremely) niche use,

being a solo-pvp player on official,

i can flood the floor of the lava cave with them, so for me they have a purpose


besides this, all the other benefits were purely for newer players convenience
(established players had no need of these things)

also the pyromane --> WAS <-- useful in defending newer players against established bullies

and helped new players get a start more easily, and again,

was most useful for solo players against the tribes which always bully them



there remains 0 end-game use for pyromane

there is a better alternative in every respect


it's usefulness for moving when overweight? gone

Increased Pyromane’s dash cooldown from 6 seconds to 12 seconds



it's usefulness in pvp? gone

Decreased Pyromane’s dragweight to 149 (now able to be bola’d)
Reduced Pyromane’s damage scaling by approximately 20%
Increased Pyromane’s dash cooldown from 6 seconds to 12 seconds



what reason is there to use it?


i am 42 years old, and have been gaming since i was 5:

i have never seen a nerf like this


a 20% damage change, + bola-able, that alone would have been seen as fair

adding in even 1 second to the cooldown timer equates to in my opinion, a slap in the face

(unnecessarily..)

to DOUBLE the cooldown timer?

it's like these developers have no spine or will

and simply stoop down to bow before the loudest (extremely few, extremely loud) on discord


and ignore the will of 99.9% of the players

i used to use it to climb up a certain section of wall in a certain cave

it's tricky, i often fall, doubling the leap timer makes it painful


but: they did far worse than just this

THEY ALSO NERFED IT'S JUMP HEIGHT

in addition to decimating it's flame leap and not telling anyone


there is yet ANOTHER HIDDEN NERF


yup, it's jump height lowered


i am left speechless at the ineptitude of this world
