Rock Drake egg hatching

I collected 8 Rock Drake eggs, A 185, 1-135 3 -90's, 1-80 and 2- 25's.
The 80 was the only egg hatched at level 80. the rest level 1.
Not sure if this common, but I am a bit beside myself atm. And a bit humored of the amount effort taken to collect them.
Is this common or am I experiencing bad luck?

I use the incubator to hatch those defects. Temp set to auto which was -85c.
As a solo player, it was quite a bit of work learning to succeed in getting them.

This is on my private dedicated server if that is worth mentioning.

reload or reboot the server, should... Should fix the level but..
in the future if the eggs are showing level 1 do not hatch. its a bug in ASA, and with eggs and hatching it sometimes becomes the reality.

I reboot every day. None of those eggs were level one. As a test, I spawned several level eggs and all hatched to their respected levels. Hope it was a fluke. Thx for the reply.

You didn't transfer the eggs did you? Made that mistake once and it set everything to level 1.

Do you have a mod to view dino levels or do you have the binoculars unlocked to check? Sometimes ASA displays creatures as level 1 even though they aren't.

This most often happens with my character when i transfer; changes my name to "player" and every time it displays my name, it says i'm level 1.

None transferred. Although 3 of the lower level eggs were stored in the Obelisk.
The 185 was hatched immediately upon returning to my base and hatched to level one.
Bummer.

Levels were viewed in the nest and in my inventory. No binoc's. I will try again later. Hope this isn't an issue that needs to be resolved by deleting the server and starting anew. I have a lot of work into this. Will do so if this continues.

I never had my character's level nor name changed. I bounce between maps several times an day. The Drake eggs get hatched in Aberration. I didn't test transferring to another map.

I"ll give an update when I get this resolved.

I see. I always use something that can see the stat distribution (binoculars from Alpha overseer or spyglass mods) to verify if the game shafted me.

Another note: I do remember a few times when my gigantoraptor showed as level 1 but with a spyglass mod it showed the proper stats. When riding, it's stats dont seem to drain because the HUD shows the level numbers, but will update if it goes lower than the base stats. Hence why i like using a spyglass mod to be 100% sure.

I remembered when trying to transfer Wyvern eggs, all hatched to level one and didn't want to risk it again.

I do use the Spyglass mod when hunting for tames. I resorted to just grabbing eggs and was not choosy learning how not to get totally annihilated in the process.
Now that I almost (wishfully) perfected the success in the grab, I will start choosing the highest I can find.

The low levels would be bred for their show of colors. Twins were born
with bright golden plumes. They are awesome looking.

I presume Aberration? is it glitched inside the ground? in a cave? deep in the blue or rad zones?

Yes, it's an Aberration.It's not far from the river. I was charging the batteries and Drake was fighting with a bird and ended up under the structures. Approximately 25.5 -61.7 coordinates. I think this is a green zone. He was 125 meters lower. But it's impossible to get there. He wasn't in the cave. But on ordinary earth.

if it some how broke render and got under the mesh the best you can do is try and whistle it to follow and then head towards the river and hope it pops out in lower terrain. there are no caves under that section of the map =/ just the anti mesh stuff. =\
