Please help me decide whether to buy)

Hi all. Since there is a discount, I’m thinking about buying this game and whether it’s worth buying it at all. And so I had some questions about it for people who play it. 1) Is it worth buying the two currently available DLS along with it? 2) I heard that in this game there are paid mods and their installation comes from CurseForge, how much less convenient is this or more than installing through the Steam workshop as was the case in the past ARK, and also are all the mods paid or only some specific ones that are related to by developers. And so a small question about optimization. My PC: RTX 4070 TI, Ryzen 7800X3D, 32GB DDR5 6000, 1080p Monitor. Thank you in advance to everyone who writes to me)☺️

No it's not. I have 6-7k hours in AS:E and Wildcard Studios/Snail Games are really BS.

Their devs even cheat on the official servers (look for it on youtube or google). This game could be really great (and i want it to be great) but it's a cheap cashgrab and low quality product like every Snail Games product...

AS:A has a very bad performance. Some systems and mechanics are slightly changed. some for the better, some for the worse. But it's very buggy.

Are you saying that if I have ASE, it’s better to play it than this?

Your hardware is perfectly adequate for 1080p. If I play with an i7-11700k, 64GB and RTX4060Ti and in very high settings with DLSS everything runs smoothly. I enjoy ASA more than ASE because there are many improvements in usage and crafting and the graphics just look much better. But since I've only played single player so far, I can't say anything about the servers...

Yes buy Ark Ascended. whats not to like :? there dinosaurs ! you can ride a dinosaur! you can fly mounted on a dinosaur, you can build bases, you can build bases on the water! you can build in the trees! you can build everywhere. There crafting, there mods! game have everything you want... graphics are beautiful as well, you do need a gaming computer -- check amazon there less expensive now then the basic IBM PC were..

ASA is 100% a better version of the game than ASE. Sure there is more content on ASE at the moment but once all the maps are done and released ASE will have nothing going for it except the players who refuse to leave.

Curseforge kinda sucks because mods don't auto update for some reason and you also need to be in game to download, also there's a lot of free mods. Other than that is just ASE with better graphics and less content atm

Get ready for a surprise on the low frames. I thought they would be lower but damn lol. Graphics settings tweaking time sigh.

One good thing I found just buying ASA the dino view distance is nowhere near as bad as Internet would have you believe just crank distance to epic and change everything else.

Another important plus point is that you can now find your dinosaurs again with the integrated dinosaur tracker if you lose them. You can also now pick up and reuse built structures instead of having to tear them down and rebuild them, including endless resource grinding... two improvements alone that significantly improve the game compared to ASE...

Do not buy this game I have over 611 hours played and the last 20 have consisted of playing 20 minutes then crashing or currently not being able to play. I loved playing but as soon as Club Ark was introduced the game for me just broke.
