The new foliage craziness is a ghillie suit for cliff edges and terrain holes, but the map layout hasn't changed much, and as such the multi tiered map without flyers, is a part of the challenge of the map.
All ARKs are nuisance early game, abb a little more so due to lack of flyers.
As you get more mobility, you'll learn more of the map including pathways to higher levels.
Ravagers and ziplines, glidersuit and parachutes, the new yi-ling and cosmo, the paid tame pyromane and ultilmately the rock drake will all significantly improve your mobility
Indeed ment ASA :)
So there are no flyers on Aberration? Damn, not sure I have the mental stamina to keep going then. I swear I glitch into the ground/slopes constantly.
2. You can enable flyers (at least i do it in ASE) if you really need to;
3. Its the best map to scream "What the ♥♥♥♥" ever 5 min (+/- 30 sec) for a first hours :)
There's also the zeppelin, which is technically flying, but it's soo slooow you'd rather walk.
Don't get put off too quick with the lack of true flyers, it makes this map much more rewarding to explore. When you have a rock drake (and saddle) you'll easily traverse map.
