You can turn it off with a command. r.fid will bring up the option in the console and it'll be the one with FI ( frame interpolation) I believe .. put a 0 after it. IF you took the time to look for it, it's posted all over Steam, Twitter, Discord, Reddit and pretty much any other SNS you can think of.
So many people with high end PCs are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and moaning but the reality is this patch and the aim of it in general is to make the game more accessible to a wider audience. People are just too self entitled nower days.
those commands will disable fsr and framegen.
The entitlement is thinking you should be able to run this game on a 1650. I have a 7900xtx/5900x and 64gb of ram and im literally getting 30fps because WC has literally focused on Nvidia GPUs. ♥♥♥♥ off dude.
They made an arbitrary decision to cripple performance for some users to somewhat benefit others. What makes you think they won't make the same decision to you in the future as well? Don't cherish the demise of your peers because one day, you too may be in the reticle.
Telling other people entitle without understating the point is the thing to say nowdays btw.
First off; if wider audiences is their goal, why do they keep investing so little on making their own materials, textures, models, code, etc... (that's how a well optimized game is done, which makes sense if you want your game to be playable on as much devices as possible) they use as much of the default UE library as they can that's why every little thing eats up more resources than it should, ergo, relaying on frame gen and IA to make the game barely playable is a money-first decision, they are not thinking on selling anyone a good service at all. You can think on GOW or the horizon games for an example of the opposite, those games are made with hardware limitations on mind (as every well made game is) that's why they run so well.
Second; They already had an option for disabling frame gen (nvidia's, ik, it's the same...) the only reason for not adding that option again is to make ''80% performance increase'' a selling point and invest as little as possible on optimization. So you can come and say ''well it now reaches 60fps on my crappy laptop bro'' you don't mention crazy stutter and crazy input lag tho, which i know for a fact that you are having, magic is not a thing.
