"Not enough mod storage space unistall older mods to continue"

this is making me so mad, i was having trouble updating mods when i uninstalled one and went to reinstall it, suddenly it said not enough mod space to download and then wouldnt let me get it, i tried other mods and all of them say not enough space, i have 17 gigs of space free on my computer how do i fix this issue i havnt found it anywhere online.

when something says you don't have enough space, you don't have enough space. your "17 free gigs" isn't 17 free gigs. you got stuff like pagefiles and other programs constantly taking a chunk of your "free space" so when it says you're out of room, just find something to delete to make room. stuff nowadays is usually impossible to convince it has enough room when it says it doesn't, so just make more room

Should have lot more then that left. Its good idea to leave at least 20% or more of drive empty. Found it to work better in end.

i am having the same issue and have 1.7TB free seems like free disk space isnt the issue

I am having the same issue just started the game and was going to update some mods and got this message. I have over 500gb of free space on my ssd. I even uninstalled old mods i don't use anymore whos file sizes where three times the the size of the one I'm trying to download. Its a 47 mb mod and I uninstalled 2 mods over 200mb each and still wont let me.

Yeah i had this issue, deleted my mods folder completely to try and fix it. Didnt work, literally all you have to do is free up some extra space on the drive that ark is on thats what worked for me
