I know this is steam but do you think wild card will take advantage of the Pros power?

its not like a game needs special coding for a PS5 pro...its just a PS5 with a slightly better GPU

by slightly better you mean double the fps in games? (60 to 120)

You really drank deep on that marketing bullsh*t if you believe $200 more GPU can double the frame rate of a game like Ark. I use a 4090 and i don't get a steady 120fps playing Ark...you really think a plastic box sold at Walmart for $700 is going to out perform a PC wit h a $2000 GPU?

Thank you for the good laugh, i needed that today.

Im far from a playstation fan infact mine is basically just a CFB 25 box but if someone does have a lower end pc a ps5 pro can be a serviceable system for some games, and I agree it wont double the FPS thats a little rediculous but I wouldnt be shocked if you see some level of increase maybe 60 to high 70s maybe 85 if generous.

Power? lol. Consoles are still fractions of the power of a PC. Sure, the new more powerful weak machine will probably run with slightly less crippled graphics and framerate. But it's rather irrelevant. it's like discussing whether a TI-83 or a TI-86 is better for running Doom. Why bother when you can have the real thing?

Probably not. They didn't take advantage of the PS4 pro with evolved, so why would they do anything different now?

They actually did. Who knows with the Devs being who they are, nothing they do is consistent or makes sense.

60 fps to 120 fps in performance mode on games with new features like PSSR and better gpu, I don't think it's that far fetched?
